Myth-Ing PersonsRobert Asprin
Skeeve and Aahz now live in the Bazaar. They are magicians for hire. They can cross dimensions and visit different worlds. Skeeve has developed quite a reputation among the Deevils. The Bazaar is a place that connects many different worlds and dimensions. Their humble tent front in the Bazaar opens into a large mansion on the inside. Some fugitives from the Deevil merchants who run the Bazaar hide in their home. These fugitives use the back door into a world no one has visited. Rather than pay the merchants the money owed by the fugitives, Aahz visits the dimension to bring them back. A few days later, Skeeve gets a warning. Aahz is in jail for murder. Skeeve, his apprentice Massha and his bodyguard Guido go through the back door. They discover they are the monsters in this dark, unusual world. Are they going to be able to rescue Aahz? Will they find the fugitives? Will it be worth it? This is another cute novel in the Myth fantasy series. This is a tongue in cheek group of books starring the haphazard human magician Skeeve and his Pervect Devil magician partner, Aahz. I enjoyed this one in the world of vampires. Vampires have a different reputation in their own world. Don't read this for depth - you won't find any. Read this for a humerous break - you'll find a lot of that.
