Trading Secrets

Jayne Ann Krentz

3/31/1999

Sabrina Chase approached Matt August in an Acapulco bar for a vacation fling. Instead, they argued and she shut him out. He continued to show up and take her out during her vacation. She returned to Dallas without carrying through her intentions for a fling.

Matt has been living in Acapulco for two years. He had had a military job failure that had resulted in the deaths of two of his men and a dishonorable discharge. He is now hiding from life by running a tourist book store in Acapulco. Sabrina shakes him out of his apathy.

Matt's ex-wife calls him to take their son for the summer. Matt takes that opportunity to pick up Brad in Houston, then swing over to visit Sabrina in Dallas. He wants to continue what was started in Mexico.

This enjoyable story shows how Matt gets over his disaffection, how Sabrina learns to cope with her family and macho men, and how a couple learn to live with their pasts to make thier future. Throw in one 13-year-old boy and any mother can appreciate some of the pressures they have.

Although it is out of print, if you are interested Link to Amazon.Com will try to locate it.

Notice: Somewhat explicit sexual situations
