This is a collection of three short romantic novels that include the themes of Christmas and children. The stories have a nice range of differences. These are light, fluff romances. The first, by Janet Dailey, involves a widowed vet. She finds herself involved with a widower and his daughter as the holidays approach. The next, by Jennifer Greene, has a couple suddenly watching her nephew. He has never had a family, and suddenly has to share her attention. The last by Patricia Gardner Evans includes a couple of divorcees with grown children. They both find themselves helping an older woman keep from losing her home from non-payment of real estate taxes. These stories are diversionary only. The only conflict is are the man and woman going to get together? These are all romances, so the answer is fairly apparent. They are entertaining in their purpose. |
