Cameron was an abused boy adopted by some wonderful people. As an adult he roamed the world as a speed boat racer. He was summoned home by another adopted brother (there are three) because their father was in a car crash and was dying. He came home to discover their father was in the process of adopting a fourth son. Their father's dying wish was that they keep the boy and raise him. This creates our conflict that follows through all the trilogy. When Anna, the sexy social worker, shows up we have our romance for this novel. Nora Roberts has intended this to be the first part of a trilogy, so we learn some about the other brothers, Ethan and Phillip, as well. As usual, Roberts does a wonderful job in this book. Cameron's childhood is very important, yet does not drag down the story. It helps highlight what he has done with his parents' guidance and love, and helps him provide that to Seth, the newest brother. Nora Roberts writes a great romance, and all of hers that I have read have been thoroughly enjoyable. Seaswept continues in that tradition. Notice: Strong sexual content |
