Basically this is a little story, a lot of sex. It is set in Midieval England around the castle of Oxborough, the daughter of the castle, Hastings, and the man she is forced to marry, Severin of Langthorne. While the historical setting seems well researched and genuine, the story is not much. It is the framework for the descriptions of the bedroom (or wherever they happen to be) scenes. A little of the Midieval machismo goes a long way. Unfortunately, there is a lot in this book. I realize it was probably the thinking of the time period. It still grated on my nerves. There are too many other books that include the seduction scenes that are better stories. I recommend finding them unless you are only reading this for tittilation. You can find more about this book at Notice: Graphic, explicit sexual situations |

Recently I completed a major programming upgrade to the Jandy's Reading Room Web site. Since it's only me, I'm counting on you to be my copy editors. If a link is broken, I've made a typo, or there is some other error you notice, please send me an e-mail. Thanks!
