Reunion is the re-release of two of Nora Roberts' romance novels from the 1980's. This book makes pleasant airplane or beach reading. Raven Williams is a popular singer and songwriter in Once More with Feeling. She had fallen in love with Brandon Carstairs, another singer and songwriter five years earlier. Then he walked out on her. Now he's back in her life. He's offering her the opportunity of a lifetime - a chance to write the score to a high profile, great potential movie project. Can she work with Brandon to fulfill her career dreams? Or will working with him prove to be too much for her? Kate Hardesty was left an unusual legacy from her emotionally distant father. In Treasures Lost, Treasures Found she takes her father's research and returns to North Carolina to search for a sunken ship. Seven years earlier she had left Ky Silver, her father's guide in the Atlantic waters, because she couldn't trust herself or him. Now she has to work with him to dive for a lost ship. She starts to see changes in Ky. Can Kate trust herself and him now? Or will she return to Connecticut and never see him again? When you're in the mood for something light and "feel good", this book is a good choice. The characters didn't communicate the first time around, leading to their own problems. It still takes too long for them to finally confront their feelings and their misunderstandings. Even so, the stories are enjoyable. Notice: Strong sexual content |
