Heart of the Sea

Nora Roberts

6/12/2001

Trevor Magee has come to Ardmore, Ireland to build a theater adjacent to Gallagher's pub. He has returned to the home of his ancestors, pulled by emotions he only vaguely recognizes. Once there he falls in love with country. And discovers Irish myths.

Darcy Gallagher is the youngest Gallagher at the pub. She is strong willed, self confident, and very independent. We met and became enchanted with her in the first two books of this romance trilogy, Jewels of the Sun and Tears of the Moon. Here she sparkles. She is attracted to Trevor before she knows his identity. After she meets him the attraction grows. Plus, he is exactly the type of man she wants in her life - rich and powerful.

Darcy decides to entice Trevor. He is most agreeable. The two start on a journey that will fulfill a three hundred year romantic yearning. This story is full of the lilt, colors, emotions, and myths of Ireland. The characters attract the romance reader and give pleasure in their love. This is one that had me misty eyed by the end. This is a must read, along with the first two of the series.
