Head Over Heels
A year ago Chloe Traeger was a free spirit, riding around the country selling her spa services and fighting her asthma. Now she is settled at Lucky Harbor, Washington, with her sisters, Maddie and Tara. She is able to still take off to sell her spa products and talents, and now has a home base with woman she hadn't known a year ago. She likes the feeling. Unfortunately she still has her asthma attacks that send to her the emergency room every once in a while.
Chloe often irritates Sheriff Sawyer Tucker. He is staid and by the book - he is the antithesis of her free spirit. She stays out of his way. Somehow, though, she finds herself wandering by the kitchen each morning when Sawyer stops by for his coffee.
Lucky Harbor, her sisters, and her friends keep pulling her in. She wants to add a day spa at their new bed and breakfast. Neither Tara nor Maddie are certain Chloe has staying power yet. They expect her to leave on her own whim and leave them with scheduled clients and no spa provider.
Chloe knows she is settling in. How can she convince Tara and Maddie? She also has to resist her building attraction to Sawyer. Or does she?
Head Over Heels is another entertaining Lucky Harbor romance by Jill Shalvis. Maddie is wedding dress shopping and Tara is also engaged in Head Over Heels. The romance between Chloe and Sawyer has been hinted at in the first two novels. Sawyer is rounded out in this book and the reader learns more about his past.
A lot of fun, Head Over Heels is a sexy novel that makes the reader happy for the romantic escape.
