This is a quick bit of enjoyable fluff to read. It's a romance with very little plot to go with it. Shannon was a super model, beautiful, sexy, and aloof. When she removed her make up and designer clothes, she returned to herself, Holly, not as striking as Shannon. Lincoln had comforted the young Holly when her parents died. She returned and he met her as Shannon; he detested her. He had been cruelly hurt by the two beautiful women his father had married. Linc believed that no woman could be beautiful and loving at the same time. After Linc's rejection of Shannon, Holly went camping in the desert mountains. Linc discovered her camping as Holly. She could not find the way to tell him she was also Shannon. From there, the story continued as all romances do, with coming together, hurting each other, breaking apart, and finally realizing they could only be truly happy with each other. This is pure romance. This is something to read for distraction, a light tale. Holly/Shannon is believable as both a super beauty and a regular looking woman. Linc is a bit unbelievable, but his character is what is needed for this type of romance. Notice: Strong sexual content |
