Daring to Dream

Nora Roberts

2/22/1999

Margo was the housekeeper's daughter, but had always been treated as a family member by the Templetons. She, Laura Templeton and her adopted sister Kate were raised together. Yet Margo always felt slightly different. Her mother and she were always in conflict.

When she was grown she became a famous international model. Then she made some poor decisions and her jet set world fell down around her. She returns to her home in Monterey, California, to rebuild her life.

Joshua Templeton, Laura's older brother, had been attracted to Margo since they were children. When she returns home, he discovers how strong the attraction is. Margo is fiercely independent and works with Laura and Kate to open a store. Joshua has to convince Margo to let him share part of her life with him.

The Templeton daughters (including Margo) are characters a reader wants to know. This book is enjoyable and a good set up for the following two as well. Romantics will enjoy this novel, along with Kate's story in Holding the Dream and Laura in Finding the Dream.
