This is a book to help guide a woman into possible emotional or mental health issues. This is not a self help book, instead one to identify different problems and suggestions of the proper help to seek. It gives a brief overview of an issue, such as postpartum depression, rape, view of self, bipolar disease, stress, anorexia, mild depression, menses, insomnia, and menopause, along with most other mental and emotional crises a woman can enocunter.

This book is used best as a manual to identify possible problems and direction for help. Sometimes a therapist may be advised, a medical doctor, a psychiatrist, or a friend's shoulder. The end of the book also recommends more sources to help on the internet, support groups, magazines, and books. If your emotions are being battered, this book may be helpful in giving a sense of assistance.

I suggest borrowing The Women's Concise Guide to Emotional Well Being from the library unless this falls within your professional interest
