The Chicken Soup books are heart-warming, feel good books. This one is no different. It is chock full of true short stories about pets and their owners. Although the title says Cat and Dog lovers, horses, lizards, birds, and other pets are also featured. Feeling down? These stories will help lift you up. Do you find yourself someplace with only a few minutes and want to read? One of these stories will fit right into that small time. I keep this book on my bedside table. If I'm between other books, or need a break from the novel that currently has me tied up, or whatever, I like to pick this up and read a couple of these. There are happy stories, sad stories, exciting stories, heroic stories, and poignant stories. You'd have to be extremely hard-hearted to not enjoy this book.
