Weather or Not! Summer is another fine offering in this musical eBook series planned for the 3-7 set. The intention of the writer is to encourage little people toward thinking about the seasons of the year and how they correlate to weather. Well thought out lyrics set to original music pose questions as they direct children's notions to the world around them while guiding understanding for what weather does for us. Exquisite photographs of easily recognizable objects lead to greater understanding for even the youngest youngsters.

Four stanzas set to music, coupled with wonderful photos of children, beach, sunset, sailboat, gulls, waves, clouds, and rainbows, all secure the enjoyment of the summer season when we laze outdoors as much as we can. Weather or Not! Summer is filled with tingle, brilliance and festivity.

Once again writer/photographer Burch and photographer Roberts have brought about a glorious work certain to enchant children, while it satifies parents, day care providers and teachers alike. Weather or Not! Summer is sure to fit both the home and school library where it is will be a good addition to the 'weather unit work. ' The book is certain to be chosen often for pleasure reading. Weather or Not! Summer is bursting with dazzling colored photos. Children's curiosity is sure to be piqued as they investigate the wonders of the summer season with parents or teacher. Strong readers will take pleasure from reading the book to younger siblings or with classmates.

Weather or Not! Summer is a book I would use in my own Kindergarten/First Grade.
